HIGH VOLTAGE HEROES
Clyde “the wire” watts
Meet Clyde Watts! He is the main hero of the High Voltage series. A timid and introverted teenager, Clyde doesn’t seem like hero material at all. However, there is a deep power that runs through the course of his veins. He has the power of Atticus, the God of Light, coursing through him. With the power of Atticus, Clyde has a great destiny to fulfill, and it will be up to him to restore balance in the universe.
These images above are of Clyde’s various forms. Since Clyde has Atticus’ abilities, it is up to him to master those powers and make those powers his own. When Clyde is in his “normal mode,” he can create lightning shields and blasts. When Clyde is pushed a bit further, he can manipulate lightning, which is what the 3rd image shows. When Clyde is pushed over the edge, he can tap into “Eros Mode,” which is Atticus’ signature mode (as you can see in the first image). Eros Mode gives Clyde superhuman strength, endurance, defense and allows him to heal from battle damage faster. Of course, as the series goes on, Clyde will also unlock other traits from Atticus as well.
Sahara Patagonian
Get acquainted with Sahara! Don’t judge her by her looks, she is one dangerous girl, and she has a feisty disposition to match! When Sahara first got her powers, she unintentionally destroyed her classroom and was expelled from school. Her own family also became afraid of her after she gained her powers, seeing her as a monster, so she ran away from home. After seeing Wire in action and watching him use his powers for good, Sahara decided to follow in his footsteps and become a hero as well, to gain acceptance. Her goal is to become a renowned hero and master her powers.
kai “tar” kilauea
This is one guy you don’t want a problem with! Underneath that molten exterior is a 16-year-old boy named Kai Kilauea! Kai is a carefree, go with the flow, nonchalant kind of individual.
However, when he experiences the slightest bit of anger… Tar, the monster inside of him, awakens! When in this form, Kai has no control over himself, gains incredible strength and is prone to destroying everything around him. But, when he does gain control of himself in his Tar form, he is a powerful asset to the High Voltage team. What’s his goal? To become the greatest surfer in the world!
toy maker
He may look cute, but don’t underestimate him! Toy Maker is a unique hero. He is a homeless child who was raised on the streets of Shield City. What’s his powers? He’s a super genius! Those toys he has around him are not ordinary toys! He uses his intellect to build weapons out of toys and uses them against enemies in combat! Due to his intellect, he is an important member of the High Voltage team. His goal his to use powers to help the homeless community in Shield City and provide resources for them.
Cassandra “scarlet Hornet” Blade
Welcome Scarlet Hornet! She is the only member of the High Voltage that doesn’t have any powers! Scarlet Hornet isn’t your average girl, and she comes from an affluent family. She was trained in many forms of martial arts and was taught by the best scholars money could buy. She combines her athleticism and her genius to fight crime. Her primary goal is to stop Al Salvatore, and her secondary goal is to become the best martial artist in the world.
circuit breaker
Lights out! Meet Circuit Breaker! He is a confident and slightly arrogant member of the High Voltage team. He loves to fight crime, use his powers and fight tough enemies. He has the power to control circuitry, and he also has a slight degree of Atticus’ powers, which gives him the ability to control and absorb light energy and expel it in the form of blue lightning. His main goal is to become stronger than his rival and friend, Clyde!
Commissioner Steven Watts
This is Commissioner Watts. He is the current head of the Shield City Police Department, and he is the father of Clyde. Commissioner Watts is a man of action, integrity, honor and fairness. He wants what’s best the citizens of Shield City and he wants to make the city a happier and safer place to live. While he isn’t really a member of team High Voltage, he is an ally.
HIGH VOLTAGE VILLAINS
Epsilon
Enter Epsilon! Epsilon isn’t your typical villain. He doesn’t desire ultimate power or ruling the world. He wants to change the world. He isn’t happy with the current state of the world and he seeks to change it. Don’t let his sense of nobility fool you. He is willing destroy entire cities and kill innocent people to get his way. He also seems to have an obsessive interest in Clyde and the power he has.
Al “the big guy” Salvatore
This is Al Salvatore! In the public eye, he is hailed as a saint and a philanthropist. However, behind closed doors, he is a kingpin and runs an underground weapons and drug ring. His primary goal is to become the most powerful man in the world.
claude “dark thunder” storm
Dark Thunder is one enemy you don’t want to face off against. He is the complete opposite of Wire in every way. Strong, ruthless, cunning, master manipulator… those are a few words to describe this villain. His primary goal is to tear down Clyde’s life completely and kill him.
xeis
Xeis is no ordinary villain. He is a descendant of Xandross, who was known as the God of Darkness. Xeis is currently the most powerful being in the universe, and he has the power of Xandross flowing through his veins. His goal is to take over the universe, but he will have to face off against Clyde first!
